The 23rd annual East Hampton Grand Masters Tournament will take place on May 17 and 18, 2025, in East Hampton, New York. This much-anticipated event is set to bring together seasoned athletes from across the United States and beyond for a weekend of spirited ultimate frisbee competition, camaraderie, and celebration.

The tournament is open to Grand Masters (over 40), Great Grandmasters (over 50), and Legends players (over 60). The two-day event will feature multiple games, free camping, and various social activities, including a beach bonfire and pancake breakfast. A highlight of this year's event will be the debut of the new "Immortal" division for players over 65.

The main fields are located in East Hampton Village, recognized as one of America’s most beautiful main streets. The host site, at 86 Stony Hill Road in Amagansett, offers camping amenities including an outdoor pool, hot tub, and access to nearby ocean and bay beaches.

Registration and Costs

Team Fee: $200

Individual Fee: $20

Fees cover field access, insurance, water, bananas, Saturday night beer, and Sunday breakfast. Players and families are welcome to camp for free on the host property or arrange accommodation in nearby hotels and bed-and-breakfasts.

Schedule

Friday, May 16: Early arrivals welcome for camping and setup.

Saturday, May 17: Games begin at 11:00 AM, with three rounds of play, followed by a Legends exhibition match. Dinner and campfire entertainment will cap off the evening.

Sunday, May 18: Play resumes at 10:30 AM with three rounds and finals. A bonfire at the beach will conclude the weekend.

In addition to free camping, players can explore various local accommodations in East Hampton, Amagansett, and Montauk. Dinner options, including salmon, tuna, and lobster, will be available for order on Saturday night. A complimentary breakfast featuring pancakes, eggs, and other items will be provided Sunday morning.

East Hampton offers numerous family-friendly activities, including playgrounds, beaches, and historical sites. Guests can enjoy shopping, dining, and exploring landmarks like America’s oldest farm and Harriet Beecher Stowe’s house.

Participants are reminded to respect local regulations, which prohibit drugs and alcohol on the fields. Dogs are not permitted at the playing areas but are welcome on the beach after 6 PM. Responsible cleanup at all locations is mandatory to ensure the tournament's continued success.
